Part-Time | Downtown Los Angeles
Pickle Alley is an indoor pickleball club in Downtown Los Angeles with a focus on community, programming, and creating an experience people want to come back to week after week. We're looking for someone who enjoys organizing, creating, and making things happen.
This role is a mix of events, partnerships, communications, and marketing support. You'll help keep our calendar moving, build relationships in the community, create promotional materials, and make sure events and programs are organized and ready to go.
This is not primarily a content creator or influencer position. We're looking for someone who likes taking ownership, creating structure, and helping a growing business run smoothly.
Responsibilities
Events & Programming
- Manage event inquiries and the events inbox
- Coordinate private events, corporate outings, parties, and activations
- Maintain and organize the monthly event calendar
- Assist with registrations, communications, and event logistics
- Help create new programming ideas and recurring events
- Coordinate vendors, sponsors, and community partners
Marketing & Communications
- Create flyers, graphics, promotional materials, and event assets
- Build and schedule email campaigns
- Manage a monthly promotional calendar
- Schedule social posts and announcements
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and outside creative partners as needed
- Help maintain website updates and event listings
Partnerships & Community
- Support relationships with local businesses and organizations
- Assist with sponsorship opportunities, pop-ups, and collaborations
- Identify opportunities to bring new groups and events into the club
- Help grow corporate and private event business
Qualifications
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and following through on projects
- Familiar with Canva or similar design tools
- Experience with email marketing platforms is a plus
- Experience in hospitality, events, fitness, sports, or community-based businesses is preferred
What Success Looks Like
- Events are planned and promoted well in advance
- Corporate and private event inquiries receive timely responses
- Monthly calendars and promotional materials are prepared consistently
- Staff have the information they need to support events and programming
- Systems are built that allow Pickle Alley to continue growing without everything flowing through ownership
Compensation will depend on experience. This role is expected to start part-time with the opportunity to grow as Pickle Alley expands.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
