Lake Air Pool Supply is looking for a friendly, energetic, and hard-working Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, helping pool and hot tub owners keep their water clean, clear, and safe. You will analyze customer water samples, explain test results, and recommend the exact chemicals and solutions they need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform water testing on customer water samples using our testing equipment.
- Analyze test results and clearly communicate required chemical treatments to customers.
- Guide customers to the correct chemicals, equipment, and accessories, assisting with purchases from start to finish.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) register, manage cash and card transactions, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Restock shelves, maintain store cleanliness, and assist with inventory management.
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service to deliver a positive shopping experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (moving chemical buckets, shock, and equipment) and stand on your feet for extended periods.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze water test results, troubleshoot common pool water issues, and match customers with the right solutions.
- Attributes: High energy, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
- Experience: Prior retail or pool industry experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right individual who is eager to learn.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
