As a Behavior and Training Specialist, you will deliver outstanding customer service both internally and externally as part of a dedicated professional team. You will be responsible for conducting behavior evaluations and providing objective assessments. Your role will include implementing behavior modification programs and enhancing kennel enrichment. You will communicate directly with adopters, staff and volunteers regarding the animals’ behavior and their suitability through RCHS programs. Additionally, you will support medical staff with treatments and manage the flow of animals through the department. You will also play a key role in training staff and volunteers on proper handling techniques and bite prevention.
