Foodland IGA is looking for a dependable and motivated Frozen Food Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for keeping the frozen food department well-stocked, organized, clean, and ready for customers each day.
The Frozen Food Manager will oversee daily department operations, maintain product quality and presentation, and help ensure customers have a great shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Stock, rotate, and organize frozen food products
- Maintain clean, full, and attractive displays
- Monitor product dates, quality, and inventory levels
- Place and receive orders as needed
- Break down freight and organize backstock
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and temperature guidelines
- Assist customers with questions and product location
- Help control shrink and maintain accurate pricing/signage
- Work with store leadership to support sales, promotions, and department goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including freezers and storage spaces
Qualifications:
- Grocery, stocking, or department experience preferred
- Management or lead experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Friendly customer service attitude
- Ability to lift, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods
- Must be comfortable working in cold/freezer environments
- Reliable attendance and availability for a full-time schedule
