Your Role (As an Assistant / Aide):
- Support the Classroom: Partner closely with the Lead Teacher to maintain a safe, warm, and nurturing environment where every child feels they belong.
- Assist with Learning: Help implement our MAE curriculum, encouraging children's intellectual and social-emotional growth through hands-on learning activities.
- Classroom Management: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and inviting classroom space.
- Engage with Families: Support parent partnership initiatives through our MAE Connects events.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Units: Must have 12+ ECE units, specifically including: Child Growth & Development, Child/Family/Community, and Program/Curriculum.
- Experience: 6+ months in a licensed childcare center or similar setting is highly preferred.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain), up-to-date Mandated Reporter training, and required health/immunization records.
