Position Title: CNC Machinist
Wage: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Menomonee Falls, WI to set up and operate CNC equipment to produce precision components. The ideal candidate will have strong machining fundamentals, the ability to interpret blueprints, and experience working with tight tolerances in a production environment. Apply today!
Production Associate Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines including turning centers, milling centers, and vertical turret lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelers
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and offsets as required
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain accurate documentation of setups and production runs
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements for Production Associate:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years of CNC machining experience preferred
- Strong understanding of CNC turning and milling operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Experience working with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators
- Ability to maintain tight tolerances and meet quality standards
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience programming or editing CNC programs preferred
- Experience with large-part machining or bearing components is a plus
- Familiarity with vertical turret lathes or boring equipment preferred
- Experience working in a high-mix, low-volume machining environment is a plus
