Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and swiftly.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales and guest experience.
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash, credit card payments, and processing cash transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring food safety standards are met at all times.
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety practices is essential.
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail sales transactions, and inventory management.
- Prior experience in food industry roles like cashiering, serving, or kitchen support will help you succeed in this position.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety regulations ensures a safe environment for both staff and guests.
