Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic industrial maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within a manufacturing environment. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and efficiency across the facility. Responsibilities.
- Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct equipment repairs utilizing welding skills, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.
- Diagnose electrical problems with diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters; execute electrical diagnostics and maintenance tasks.
- Support industrial electrician tasks involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), control circuits, and automation systems.
- Some field maintenance on heavy equipment
- Conduct simple repairs such as HVAC, Tire work, Breaks, Etc.
- Transmission and engine repair/replacement
Requirements
- Proven experience
- Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, hydraulic systems, Etc.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, industrial maintenance practices, and electrical systems is essential.
- Experience with diagnostics
- Strong analysis skills combined with excellent customer service orientation.
- Must have tools
- Experience with heavy equipment is a plus (we work on lots in this area)
