Office Manager/Bookkeeper
Creative Caterers is looking for an Office Manager who has excellent organizational skills and a personable disposition to keep our team thriving. The ideal candidate will have a natural flexibility in handling day-to-day routines as well as surprises. The Office Manager will provide strong, reliable support for operations by creating procedures and communicating them companywide, as well as committing to maintaining a positive and efficient workplace.
Objectives of this role
- Ensure peak operations for the organization and implement preventive measures for potential issues
- Implement policies and procedures, measure outcomes against standards, and improve operational flow
- Respond to requests and questions about office operations
- Coordinate internal and external resources
Responsibilities
- Oversee HR duties including but not limited to: Posting and Reconciling Payroll, Employee Onboarding, Employee Relations, Timecard Management
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to office operations, facilities, or staff
- Manage Accounting Procedures for the company including but not limited to: Process Accounts Payable and Receivable; Classification, reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts including calculating estimated depreciation/amortizations; calculating and processing sales tax filings and ensuring equity transactions are recorded properly; Preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, including variance to budget analyses
- Ensuring accuracy in documentation, financial transactions, and other administrative tasks
- Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial compliance
Required skills and qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in office management, Accounting services
- Ability to work independently, strong organizational skills
- Strong time-management and people skills, high degree of flexibility, and excellent multitasking ability
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Proficiency with office applications, and aptitude for learning new software and systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Associates Degree or Relevant Experience
- Advanced computer skills and experience with online platforms
About This Role:
· This role will be in-office
· 25-32 hours/week with potential for Over-Time during busier times of year
