Shift Details
- Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Weekend coverage required
Requirements
- Must be board certified
- Active Michigan license at time of name clear
- NRP advanced provider or instructor status required
- Neonatal experience required; new grads not accepted
Required Procedures / Skills
- Delivery room attendance
- Neonatal resuscitation
- PICC line placement
- Umbilical line placement
- Needle aspiration
- Chest tube placement
Assignment Details
- Practice setting: Inpatient neonatal intensive care unit
- Average patient volume: 10–12 patients per APP per day
- Patient demographic: Neonates
- EMR: Epic
- Level I trauma facility
- Level III NICU
- APP will not work autonomously
- Supervising physician will be present during the assignment
