We are currently partnered with one of New England’s premier General Contractors in their search for a Senior Estimator to join a rapidly growing preconstruction team.
This is an opportunity to join a highly respected builder with a century-long reputation for delivering some of the region’s most complex and recognizable projects. The firm continues to experience significant growth driven by recent project awards across public, infrastructure, energy, higher education, healthcare, and mission-critical sectors.
The Senior Estimator will play a key role within the estimating organization, taking ownership of major estimates while working closely with estimating leadership, operations, project management, and executive teams throughout the pursuit process.

The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an estimator who enjoys owning complex work from early budgeting through final bid submission. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple market sectors, build strong subcontractor relationships, and contribute directly to high-profile project pursuits throughout New England.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading conceptual, design-development, and hard-bid estimates
- Completing detailed takeoffs, scope reviews, bid leveling, and cost analysis
- Developing subcontractor and vendor relationships across key trades
- Identifying scope gaps, coordination issues, value-engineering opportunities, and project risks
- Collaborating with project management, operations, and preconstruction leadership
- Supporting bid strategy, proposal development, and presentation preparation
- Assisting with the mentorship and development of junior estimating staff
Ideal Background
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience
- Experience estimating commercial, institutional, public, healthcare, higher education, infrastructure, energy, or MEP-intensive projects
- Ability to manage estimates from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission
- Strong understanding of subcontractor coverage, bid leveling, scope analysis, and value engineering
- Comfortable working collaboratively with both field operations and executive leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $150,000–$200,000, depending on experience
