Low Voltage Technician
Location: Fort Collins, CO

Schedule: Monday–Friday | (day shift & night shift available)

Position Overview
Tek One Solutions is seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians to support commercial structured cabling and network infrastructure projects in the Fort Collins, CO area. Technicians will assist with installing structured cabling to support IP surveillance, wireless networking, and other low-voltage systems in commercial office and industrial environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience pulling and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, working in commercial construction settings, and operating safely in elevated work areas. This is a W-2 project-based contract with opportunities for future commercial technology projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Pull, route, and secure Cat5e/Cat6 structured cabling
- Terminate network cabling at patch panels, keystone jacks, and device locations
- Support installations for IP cameras, wireless access points, and other low-voltage devices
- Install cable pathways including J-hooks, cable tray, and ladder rack
- Label, organize, and dress cabling according to project standards
- Read and interpret construction drawings, floor plans, and cable schedules
- Perform basic cable testing and troubleshooting
- Work safely from ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow OSHA guidelines and all site-specific safety requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Commercial structured cabling experience
- Experience pulling and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cable
- Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team
- Comfortable working above ceilings and at elevated heights
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail
