Position Summary
Nissan of Torrance is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused Lot Porter to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our dealership while providing excellent support to our sales and service departments.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping vehicles looking their best, and is comfortable driving a variety of vehicles in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance of new and used vehicle inventory by cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors.
- Ensure vehicles are fueled and fluids are replenished as needed.
- Replace batteries when necessary.
- Place buyer's guides, stock tags, and key tags on vehicles.
- Organize and maintain dealership lots according to company display standards.
- Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership, including the sales lot, service lane, parking areas, and service stalls.
- Keep the dealership driveway, sidewalks, and surrounding areas clean and presentable.
- Greet customers courteously and assist with basic questions or direct them to the appropriate department.
- Support the sales and service teams with vehicle transfers, deliveries, and other assigned duties.
- Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
