BRIX Holdings, LLC is a Dallas-based multi-brand franchising company specializing in chains with superior products and attractive growth prospects. BRIX Holdings focuses on brands that are both attractive to the rapidly expanding single-unit owner/operator franchise market segment and have the potential to grow into national and international award-winning chains. The current BRIX Holdings portfolio includes Friendly’s Restaurants, Clean Juice, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, Red Mango Frozen Yogurt, Smoothie Factory, and Souper Salad.
BRIX is seeking a Franchise Support Director responsible for oversight of operations in franchise stores to grow, develop, and maximize results in their respective region while maintaining consistent customer experience and operational compliance. The Franchise Support Director will also project manage the new store opening process after hand-off from development and facilitate the sale or transfer process providing support for the new or existing franchise owner from initial solicitation through contract completion for both traditional and non-traditional development. Must passionately represent the brand and be able to coach prospects through on-boarding, training, and opening of their store.
As a traveling position, this person will work from their home office when not traveling and will be required to come to the corporate office located in Dallas, Texas periodically for meetings, product sampling and development, and other projects.
Essential Duties:
- Travel regularly to Franchise locations in assigned region.
- Develop and maintain successful Franchise Owner relations through proactive, routine communication to provide appropriate coaching, training, education, and development tools (minimum of 1 in-person visit per store each year, supplemented with virtual consultation, email correspondence, and regular phone calls).
- Perform Brand Standards Audits & Business Reviews with each Franchise Owner.
- Provide leadership and influence Franchise Owners to ensure they are investing in their operations and remaining up to date on operational standards and processes.
- Assist Franchise Owners with analyzing their business opportunities and areas for improvement while preparing short- and long-term business plans.
- Serve as the brand and company’s point of contact for all items related to franchise operations, profitability, and growth.
- Review yearly sales objectives with Franchise Owners and provide regular tracking and progress reports on goals.
- Analyze business information (financial information, market information, staffing, management practices, etc.) to advise and consult with the Franchise Owner to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with Franchise Owners to safeguard proper standards regarding effective operations, guest experience, safe food handling, adherence to purchasing requirements with approved vendors, and implementation of training programs for owner/management and team members.
- Assess operational execution, evaluate store processes, and partner with Franchise Owners to reduce and resolve issues.
- Serve as main point of contact between Franchise Owners and internal partners (operations, finance, marketing, technology, supply chain, legal, and development) to implement business initiatives, promotions, existing and new standards and processes, existing and new technology, and test programs.
- Communicate post-visit tasks to Franchise Owners and follow up to ensure compliance with Brand standards.
- Document all interactions and communications between Franchise Owner and Corporate in the company approved Franchise Management System (FranConnect).
- Follow up with Franchise Owners to ensure all relevant communication from the organization is being received and programs or initiatives are being implemented to company standards.
- Serve as point of contact for all departments and the Franchise Owner on the NSO/Transfer process by providing support for the new or existing franchise owner from initial solicitation through contract completion for both traditional and non-traditional development. Coach prospects through on-boarding, training, and opening of their store.
- Ensure NSO/Transfer process remains on track by consistently following up proactively to remove barriers or assisting with gathering and sharing information.
- Provide updates to Company Leadership of unusual performance trends, ownership engagement issues, guest complaints, non-payment of all fees due to the company, or other information that might prompt the consideration of collaborative efforts.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years’ experience as a franchise consultant (or in-store operations equivalent)
- Travel, with limited direct supervision, up to 75% of the time.
- Computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Understanding of budgets, P&Ls, and other financial information
- Exceptional verbal skills and strong writing skills
- Proactive self-starter with the exceptional organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be flexible with work hours as required, based on the needs of the business
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information and strategies

Work Location: On the road
