Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator | Reach Truck to join a growing warehouse team in Otsego, MN. This position is responsible for safely operating stand-up reach truck forklifts, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has at least two years of recent reach truck experience, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with inventory systems and RF scanning equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate stand-up reach truck forklifts to move, retrieve, and store products throughout the warehouse.
- Load outbound trailers while ensuring products are properly secured for shipment.
- Unload inbound shipments and accurately place products in designated inventory locations.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Utilize barcode scanners, RF equipment, and inventory management systems to update stock records.
- Create shipping documentation and process product transactions using computer systems.
- Pick and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse material handling operations.
- Inspect equipment and report safety or maintenance concerns as needed.
- Provide internal support and customer service as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures, warehouse policies, and operating requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent stand-up reach truck forklift experience required.
- Previous warehouse material handling, shipping, and receiving experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable using computers, RF scanners, barcode equipment, and inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Forklift certification is preferred; company training and certification may be provided if needed.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Steel-toe boots are required.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.
- Exposure to varying warehouse temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling.
- Extended periods operating stand-up reach truck equipment.
- Must be able to safely perform physical duties while maintaining attention to surrounding equipment, products, and employees.
