Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Support catering operations by preparing and packaging meals for events.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other food preparation tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, reporting any shortages as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety.
Skills
- Experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including knife skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Familiarity with catering services is a plus.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
