We are seeking a dedicated Classroom Aide to join our team in supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels. In this role, you will assist teachers in fostering an inclusive environment for students with diverse learning requirements, including those on the autism spectrum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to teachers in managing classroom activities and meeting the unique educational, behavioral, and emotional goals of each student.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized lesson plans and behavioral strategies.
- Collaborate with the instructional team to ensure a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting.
- Strong classroom management and behavior management skills.
- Working knowledge of special education practices and Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
- Experience in developing and implementing educational curriculum.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students who have diverse learning needs, including emotional disabilities and autism.
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to student support.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
