Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our bustling Cafe operations. Duties
- Lead and manage all cafe functions, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, stock management, and waste reduction to maximize profitability.
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams, providing training on food handling, food safety, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and customer service excellence.
- Implement staff training and development programs to enhance team skills in food production, culinary techniques, and hospitality standards.
- Manage shift schedules, monitor performance metrics, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations across all areas of the restaurant.
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures and reconciliation to maintain financial accuracy.
- Foster a positive work environment by motivating staff through effective leadership, conducting interviews for new hires, and supporting team growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Must have at least three years of experience as a General Manager
- Proven experience in management with strong supervisory skills in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and sales tracking.
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training, development, and team management.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality excellence.
- Background in managing diverse restaurant settings including fine dining or banquet services is advantageous.
