Front Desk Agent – Job Description
Location: Home2 Suites Burleson
Position Type: Full-Time / Open Availability Required
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at a Hilton property. The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality while ensuring smooth daily operations of the hotel.
This role requires open availability and flexibility, as team members must be able to work both morning and evening shifts based on operational needs.
Schedule & Availability Requirements
- Must be available 5 days per week
- Must be able to work both shifts as scheduled
- Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Open availability is required, including weekends and holidays
- Schedule may vary based on hotel occupancy and operational needs
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Answer phone calls and assist guests with questions, requests, and concerns
- Promote and enroll guests in Hilton Honors loyalty program
- Maintain accurate guest records including phone numbers, addresses, and payment information
- Process payments, cash handling, and credit card transactions
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready
- Follow Hilton brand standards and service expectations
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
QualificationsExperience
- 1+ year of experience in hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus
Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and comfort using hotel systems
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Must maintain a professional appearance according to Hilton brand standards

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
