Job Description:
RV Mobile Power (RVMP) is seeking an experienced and reliable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving history and a solid understanding of logistics and vehicle operations. As a Driver at RVMP, you will be responsible for transporting goods, equipment, and materials to various locations, ensuring safe and efficient deliveries. Additionally, the role requires versatility, as you may be asked to assist in other areas of the company when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 26 ft straight truck (Class B or For Hire Endorsement required).
- Transport equipment and materials to job sites and other locations as needed.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring it is in safe working condition.
- Safely load and unload equipment, using a forklift when necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
- Follow all state and federal driving regulations.
- Ensure timely and efficient deliveries while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Assist with various tasks around the company, including warehouse duties and other operational support, when required.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience driving a straight truck (26 ft).
- Possession of a Class B or For Hire Endorsement.
- Forklift operation experience required.
- Willingness to assist in other areas of the business when needed.
- Strong work history and a proven record of reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service.
