Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you'll be the face of our restaurant, providing guests with memorable dining experiences through excellent service and a welcoming attitude. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels valued and satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them in seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth start to their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Shift 4 POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, including cocktail and beverage service with spirits knowledge.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Process cash transactions efficiently, handle credit card payments, and manage sales transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, serving areas, and workstations in compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, drink service, and food safety practices enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills.
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash confidently.
