We are looking for an experienced Cell Phone Diagnostics Technician to join our production team. This is not a retail repair position. We're looking for someone who has worked in mobile diagnostics & wholesale device processing and can immediately contribute in a fast-paced environment.
If you're experienced with testing, grading, unlocking, and processing large volumes of smartphones, we'd like to speak with you.
Responsibilities
- Test and diagnose smartphones and tablets using industry-standard diagnostic software
- Accurately grade devices based on cosmetic and functional condition
- Verify IMEI/ESN status and identify locked, financed, blacklisted, or non-functional devices
- Unlock, configure, update, and prepare devices for resale
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure devices meet company standards
- Maintain high accuracy while meeting daily production goals
- Work closely with inventory and operations teams to keep workflow moving efficiently
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience testing, diagnosing, and processing mobile devices
- Experience with Phonecheck or similar diagnostic platforms preferred
- Strong knowledge of Apple iPhone and Android devices
- Experience checking IMEI/ESN status and carrier compatibility
- Experience unlocking and configuring devices
- Ability to identify hardware and software issues quickly
- Strong attention to detail with consistent, accurate work
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
- Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Experience in wholesale, reverse logistics, refurbishment, or device processing is strongly preferred

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
