A part-time opportunity is available for an experienced retail pharmacist in Rathdrum, ID, offering a 13-week contract to hire assignment. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who excels in customer service and teamwork.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Saturday shifts allow for a day off on Thursday or Friday)
Work Environment:
- Pharmacy volume of 300 – 400 prescriptions per day
- Team includes 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
- Utilizes the Pioneer pharmacy system
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately verifying prescriptions to ensure patient safety
- Providing patient counseling to support medication adherence and health outcomes
- Supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting their workflow
- Maintaining a strong focus on exemplary customer service and collaborative teamwork
Qualifications:
- Active and clear pharmacist license for Idaho
- Proven pharmacy experience in retail settings
- Updated resume, skills checklist, and professional references
