Overview
As a Store Manager, you will be the driving force behind our retail operations, leading a dynamic team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales goals in our soon-to-open Bissinger's location at Burlington Mall. Your leadership will inspire your team to excel in all aspects of store management, from inventory control to customer service. You’ll create a vibrant shopping environment that not only meets but exceeds our customers’ expectations.
What you’ll do
- Lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing comprehensive training and ongoing development
- Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising.
- Drive sales through effective pricing strategies and promotional activities.
- Conduct employee orientation and training programs to develop a skilled workforce.
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for efficient transaction processing and cash handling.
- Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and resolve any issues promptly.
Basic qualifications
- 5 years retail management experience preferably within a department store environment.
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Supervise shift operations and create work schedule ensuring smooth cashiering processes, customer interactions, and adherence to safety standards.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and employee development.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
- Familiarity with retail math and budgeting practices.

Store hours: M-Thrs 10am-8pm, Fri-Sat 10am-9pm, Sunday 11am-6pm
