A leading commercial real estate services firm in Columbus is seeking a Business Development Manager to help grow its expanding Owner's Representation division.
This is a high-impact role focused on expanding market presence, developing new client relationships, and driving business beyond existing partnerships. The position blends business development, client relationship management, and project oversight, offering the opportunity to help shape the growth of an expanding service line while working alongside an experienced leadership team.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute business development strategies to identify new opportunities and expand market presence.
- Build relationships with commercial real estate owners, tenants, developers, and key decision-makers.
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, industry engagement, and strategic outreach.
- Lead client conversations, develop tailored solutions, and support pursuits from initial engagement through project execution.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools and market intelligence.
- Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences that drive repeat business and referrals.
- Support Owner's Representation projects by managing client expectations, project milestones, budgets, and key stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in business development, commercial real estate, construction, or related professional services.
- Proven success generating new business and building long-term client relationships.
- Strong ability to influence executives, owners, developers, and other key decision-makers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and create opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with commercial real estate, construction, tenant improvements, or Owner's Representation services is preferred.
