We are looking for an experienced Commercial Irrigation Technician to join our growing team and help us continue delivering the high level of service our customers have come to expect.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for startup and shut down of systems.
- Work with the office to create proposals for repair work
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot irrigation systems to determine repair needs
- Complete projects in the time that is allotted while paying attention to detail
- Diagnose and repair commercial irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot valves, wiring, decoders, controllers, and electrical issues
- Repair sprinkler heads, lateral lines, main lines, and valves
- Install and program irrigation controllers
- Perform irrigation audits and seasonal system adjustments
- Identify water waste and recommend improvements
- Communicate repairs and recommendations with Account Managers
- Complete daily service documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and equipment
- Maintain a detailed inventory of parts and equipment being used and stocked
- Follow all company safety procedure
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Must have experience with two-wire irrigation systems
- Minimum 2 years' experience installing/troubleshooting existing commercial systems
- Able to work independently
- Self motivated
- Experience troubleshooting electrical irrigation systems
- Familiarity with Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, and similar irrigation products
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Irrigation license or certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
