FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Completes make-ready in accordance with the job ticket and product specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling and anilox rollers are used.
- Responsible for operating high-quality products using RDP offset web presses (6-color and 10-color) in accordance with customer specification while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
- Maintains consistent quality during the production run with critical quality checks including copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion to ensure conformance to all other quality checks.
- Accurately records time and materials for each job and is accountable for equipment maintenance.
- Diagnoses problems, make press adjustments, troubleshoots, and provides the required maintenance to equipment in a timely manner.
- Clean plate, cylinder, glue units, ink pans and lubricates press as needed.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments.
- Work with press numbering
SCHEDULE:
- Monday through Saturday
- Able to work night shift
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School or Equivalent (Preferred)
- Minimum 3 years printing experience (Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
