Restaurant Line Cook at ethos Greek Bistro
We’re looking for dedicated, detail-oriented Line Cooks to join our fast-paced kitchen team. This is a busy, high-volume kitchen, so we need team players who can stay sharp, move with urgency, and deliver consistent, high-quality food under pressure. You’ll play a key role in preparing dishes that exceed guest expectations while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Arrive in uniform and on time for scheduled shifts
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food leaving the kitchen is consistent and of the highest quality
- Maintain proper timing and pace to keep up with high-volume food ticket flow
- Set up, maintain, and break down assigned stations efficiently
- Label, date, and store all food products neatly and safely
- Practice “clean as you work” habits to maintain cleanliness throughout the shift
- Keep a clean, professional appearance and demonstrate personal hygiene
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, full-service dining environment.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to take direction and work well with others.
- Must be available to work Sundays/Mondays, weekends, and holidays.
- Weekend shifts may go until 10:30 PM; weekday nights until 9:30 PM.
