Overview
Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Service Technician and become a vital l part of delivering top-tier heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC and related systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety, providing clients with reliable comfort solutions. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heat pumps, gas furnaces, oil furnaces, and mini splits.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites to assess system performance, execute repairs, and provide preventative maintenance.
- Install new HVAC equipment following safety standards and manufacturer specifications while ensuring proper operation.
- Diagnose complex issues involving HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) units with precision.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all work performed for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction environments.
- Proven service technician experience with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC design and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC equipment repair techniques including welding and boiler maintenance.
- Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
