Job Summary
Mizpah Integrations is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee electrical and low-voltage projects from initial planning through completion. This position will serve as a key point of coordination between customers, general contractors, vendors, management, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
The ideal candidate has experience managing construction or trade-related projects, possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills, and is comfortable managing multiple active projects at various stages of completion.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Coordination
- Manage electrical and low-voltage projects from award through completion and closeout.
- Review project scope, estimates, plans, specifications, schedules, and contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deadlines.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and site requirements.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address scheduling, material, or field-related issues.
- Coordinate with field personnel to ensure project scope and expectations are clearly communicated.
- Attend project meetings, site walks, and coordination meetings as required.
Financial & Documentation Management
- Monitor project budgets, labor hours, material costs, and overall job performance.
- Identify work outside of the original project scope and assist with preparing change orders and additional work authorizations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including correspondence, schedules, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation.
- Assist with progress billing, project draws, and Schedule of Values documentation as needed.
- Review project costs and provide management with updates regarding project performance.
Customer & Contractor Communication
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Provide timely updates regarding project schedules, progress, changes, and outstanding items.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and project partners.
- Address project concerns promptly and coordinate resolutions with management and field personnel.
Project Closeout
- Coordinate final inspections, punch-list items, and project completion requirements.
- Ensure required closeout documents, warranties, as-builts, and other project documentation are completed and submitted.
- Confirm outstanding project items are resolved prior to final closeout.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in project management, construction management, electrical contracting, low-voltage contracting, or a related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with customers, contractors, vendors, management, and field personnel.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with project management, estimating, or construction management software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Electrical and/or low-voltage industry experience is strongly preferred.
Work Environment
This position includes a combination of office-based project management and field/site coordination. The Project Manager will regularly communicate with customers, contractors, vendors, management, and field personnel and may be required to visit active project sites throughout Southwest Florida.
