Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and financial software
- Handle cash drawer management, including balancing at the start and end of shifts
- Perform retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, and returns with precision
- Support retail lending activities by processing loan applications and collections when necessary
- Maintain organized product displays and ensure the store environment is clean and inviting
- Enter data efficiently into point-of-sale systems, including sales records and customer information
Requirements
- Previous retail store experience or familiarity with retail sales environments preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, proactive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, balancing registers, and performing retail math calculations
- Ability to operate financial software and perform data entry accurately
- Experience with cash handling, cashiering, and cash drawer management required
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
