Qualifications:
- Strong classroom management skills and experience teaching preschool dance/movement classes
- Passion for supporting young children's growth and development through movement and dance
- Ability to provide a safe, inclusive, and fun learning environment where every child feels encouraged to participate
- Collaborative, positive, and reliable team player with a professional approach to teaching
Our ideal candidate will be a qualified preschool movement or dance teacher who is passionate about introducing young children to the joy of dance. We are looking for an instructor who understands the important role that early movement experiences play in children's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development and is excited to be part of a school that shares this philosophy. This teacher will create engaging, developmentally appropriate classes that incorporate music, movement, games, and imaginative play to build coordination, social skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of dance. The successful candidate will provide a safe and nurturing learning environment, collaborate closely with fellow teachers, communicate effectively with families, and contribute positively to our school community. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about growing with our program, values teamwork, and is interested in long-term opportunities within our school.
