Construction Attorney (Part-Time, Remote)
Our client, a fully remote law firm, is seeking an experienced Construction Attorney to provide ongoing legal support on a part-time contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking for flexible remote work while handling sophisticated construction, infrastructure, and contracting matters.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction and commercial agreements
- Advise clients on construction risk, project delivery methods, and contract administration
- Provide legal guidance on infrastructure, engineering, and construction-related matters
- Support clients with government contracting, public works, public procurement, and related issues as applicable
- Assist with ongoing contract and project-related legal needs
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; California Bar preferred, but not required
- 8+ years of legal experience
- Experience representing engineering, construction, infrastructure, or related companies
- Strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction and commercial contracts
- Experience advising on construction risk and project management matters
- Government contracting, public works, infrastructure, or public procurement experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with federal, state, or municipal contracting requirements is a plus
Position Details

- Hourly rate: $75–$120 per hour, depending on experience
