Join a contractor supporting the installation of large energy generation equipment and electrical infrastructure on a major industrial construction project in Hilliard, OH. This role offers the opportunity to oversee safety during trenching and excavation, crane and rigging operations, heavy equipment activities, medium-voltage electrical installations, and generator system construction.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical construction safety professional who enjoys working in the field while supporting high-risk utility and industrial construction operations.
OSHA 500 Certification
OSHA 510 Certification
3+ years of construction safety experience
Strong electrical safety experience
NFPA 70E knowledge or certification
Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
Direct utility company project experience
Medium-voltage electrical construction experience
Experience supporting power generation or utility infrastructure projects
Experience with trenching, excavation, crane operations, and rigging
CHST, ASP, CSP, CESCP, or other BCSP/electrical safety credential

Oversee daily safety activities for energy generation equipment installation

Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

Monitor trenching, excavation, and underground utility activities

Support medium-voltage electrical installation and energy infrastructure construction

Monitor crane operations, rigging activities, forklift operations, and heavy equipment movement

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E requirements, and project safety standards

Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation

Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), lift plans, permits, and pre-task plans

Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records

Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards

Promote a positive safety culture across the project
