Copia Farm is hiring a dependable, energetic, and highly responsible person to support our farm store and help make many of the foods and products our customers love.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that begins at 7:30 a.m. and requires regular availability on either Saturday or Sunday. The workday will usually begin with stocking and preparing the farm store, followed by production work for most of the day.
This role requires someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities, notices what needs to be done, and follows tasks through to completion without needing constant direction.
What You’ll Do
You will help stock, organize, and maintain the farm store, then spend most of your time producing items in our kitchen and workspace, including:
Dairy products
Breads and baked goods
Prepared meals
Bath and body products
Candles
Soaps
Other seasonal Copia-made products
Store responsibilities include receiving deliveries, rotating inventory, filling coolers and freezers, organizing displays, checking product quality, cleaning, and making sure the store is fully stocked, orderly, and inviting for customers.
Production responsibilities include following recipes and procedures, accurately measuring ingredients, preparing and packaging products, labeling finished goods, maintaining a clean workspace, washing dishes and equipment, tracking what needs to be made, and helping improve production flow.
You will be expected to take ownership of assigned tasks from start to finish, including preparation, production, packaging, stocking, cleanup, and communicating when supplies are low or something is not working correctly.

Can transition between stocking, kitchen production, cleaning, packaging, and receiving deliveries
Is comfortable with repetitive physical work throughout the day
Can repeatedly lift, carry, and move boxes, crates, dairy products, and inventory weighing approximately 40–50 pounds
Is comfortable standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving for most of the shift
Communicates clearly and works well with a small team
Is available to work either Saturday or Sunday each week
Experience in food production is required. Experience with retail stocking, baking, dairy production, prepared meals, soap making, candle making, or bath and body production is strongly preferred. Training will be provided on Copia’s specific recipes, products, and systems.
