We’re looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing practice and help deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Position Overview:
The Associate Attorney will handle all aspects of pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement, with opportunities to assist in litigation matters as needed. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys client communication, negotiation, and hands-on case work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from start to finish.
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and next steps.
- Negotiate settlements directly with insurance adjusters or opposing counsel
- Review, organize, and analyze medical records and bills.
- Work with medical providers to negotiate and reduce liens.
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and motions.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure timely and effective case management.
- Network and develop professional relationships to help grow the firm’s presence.
Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice law in Kansas.
- Experience in personal injury, insurance defense, or related field preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented.
