Job Overview:
Silver Star Cinemas is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as General Staff. This position is essential to ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests.
All candidates must be available for scheduling all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with flexibility on weekdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open the cinema and prepare for the day’s operations
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions
- Prepare popcorn and other concessions
- Maintain cleanliness of the theatres and common areas
- Perform basic projection functions as needed
- Conduct security checks to ensure the safety of guests and staff
- Assist with various tasks as required in a dynamic movie theatre environment
Availability Requirements:
- Must be available to work Fridays , Saturdays, and Sundays (Required)
- One additional weekday availability is preferred
- Availability for some holidays
- Open 365 days a year, so a commitment to scheduling is essential
- One prior employer reference showing positive attendance (preferred)
Compensation:
- Pay rate: $13 per hour
- Annual increases based on performance
- Expected hours: 25-40 hours per week, depending on business needs
