Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The Hydrovac Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining hydro excavation equipment to safely and efficiently complete excavation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Operate hydrovac equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform hydro excavation around utilities and other underground structures
- Follow project specifications and ensure work is completed accurately
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and maintenance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success
Qualifications:
- Experience with dump trucks, tankers, and heavy equipment operation
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to pave, build, bulldoze, and operate graders
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus
- Commercial driving experience preferred
