General Description: Under the supervision of the school principal and working with the office team, the receptionist is responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative duties to assist in the effective and efficient operation of the office and school. Recommended Qualifications:

High School diploma: Post-secondary secretarial training helpful

A minimum of one year of recent and relevant office experience within the last three years

Knowledge of computer systems and software, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases and the ability to keyboard accurately and with speed

Excellent communication and organization skills

Ability to deal positively and effectively with students, parents, personnel, and the general public

Ability to set up and maintain record keeping systems, including financial records

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
