Tiny Chefs is seeking energetic, fun, organized, punctual, and dependable educators to lead our after-school enrichment cooking classes! If you love working with children and have a passion for food, we’d love to meet you.
Location(s):
Chesapeake Beach, MD
Schedule:
Classes run during after-school hours (2-5pm), M-F
Instructors able to pick up 2-5 classes per week depending on their availabilty & program availability.
What You’ll Do:
During each 60-minute class, instructors will:
- Guide students step-by-step through preparing a recipe
- Teach about ingredients and their uses
- Demonstrate kitchen safety and cooking techniques
- Foster social skills such as teamwork, communication, following directions, and manners
- Create a fun, positive, and engaging learning environment
Tiny Chefs provides all curriculum and equipment — you bring the energy!
Instructor Responsibilities:
- Shop for groceries for your assigned classes
- Transport groceries and Tiny Chefs supplies to and from class
- Pick up supplies from our studio in Alexandria, VA (supplies remain with instructor for the semester)
- Arrive on time and fully prepared for each session
✅ Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation (required for transporting supplies and groceries)
- Ability to travel to Alexandria, VA studio for supply pick-up
- Availability for the listed class times
- Willingness and ability to pass a State & Federal background check
- Teaching experience preferred
- Passion for food and working with children
Professional cooking experience is not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
