Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multi-Site Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs across multiple apartment communities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while providing excellent service to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and general repairs.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with the property management team.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks across multiple properties.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation to travel between properties. A truck is preferred due to the nature of the position.
- Must provide your own basic hand tools required to perform daily maintenance tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
