Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Handyman to handle general repairs, building maintenance, and hands-on projects. The ideal candidate should be good with tools, able to troubleshoot problems, and comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Repair and adjust doors, windows, locks, and hardware
- Perform basic wood framing and carpentry
- Build wooden boxes, shelves, and small structures
- Repair and maintain garage doors
- Replace and repair electrical switches, outlets, and light fixtures
- Troubleshoot and repair small motors and equipment
- Perform general building repairs and maintenance
- Handle basic painting and wall repairs
- Perform light welding and metal repairs
- Organize tools, materials, and work areas
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in handyman, construction, or building maintenance
- Good knowledge of woodworking and carpentry
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Basic knowledge of electrical repairs
- Basic knowledge of welding and metal work
- Painting and general repair experience
- Good problem-solving skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to complete projects independently
- Valid driver's license preferred
This is a hands-on maintenance position for someone who enjoys fixing, building, organizing, and keeping a facility in good working condition.
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
