Job Pay Range: $28.00 - $36.00 / hour (Inclusive of hourly pay rate + service charge)
- Breakdown: Based on $12.00 per hour base wage + service charge commission paid per shift; historically, this position averages service charge commission earnings of $16.00 - $24.00 per hour. Service charges fluctuate based on the time of year.
- This position always earns at least the current Colorado minimum wage $15.16 per hour.
Job Summary:
As a Fine Dining Supervisor, you will manage front-of-house operations, lead service staff, and ensure consistent elite standards, mentor the service team, and integrate restaurant operations smoothly into the overall luxury hotel experience.Learn more about Broadmoor here.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Lead pre-shift meetings, oversee table rotation, and monitor timing between courses.
- Greet VIPs, table visit guests guarantee satisfaction and handle delicate complaints with grace.
- Train, coach, and evaluate front-of-house employees on fine dining etiquette, wine service, and menu nuances.
- Inspect dining room cleanliness, uniform compliance, and table settings before service begins.
- Partner with the culinary team to pace orders and accommodate special dietary needs.
- Assist with scheduling, inventory tracking, and daily operational logs.
- Checks reservations for special parties and verify complete instructions for said parties.
- Presents menu to the guest, offers recommendations and description for the purpose of assisting and upselling the menu.
- Ensure station and side work are complete prior to staff leaving.
- Assists waitstaff in retrieving items from the kitchen and bar, serving when necessary.
- Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).
- Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets.
- Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.

What we are looking for:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
- Previous experience in supervisory, captain or Sommelier is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered.
- Expert understanding food and wine pairings, service styles fine dining, and POS system.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and email communication.
- A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills, negotiation, conflict resolution and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 100 lbs. with assistance and proper safety practices.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the calendar of events.
