The Home Improvement Store is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Dispatcher. This person will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our plumbing, HVAC, and electrical office. This position focuses on customer service, scheduling, answering phones, dispatching technicians, data entry, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
Customer Service
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Schedule service appointments
- Assist customers with questions
- Process payments
- Send invoices and estimates
- Collections calls
- Follow up with customers as needed
Dispatching
- Dispatch technicians efficiently
- Monitor technician schedules throughout the day
- Communicate schedule changes
- Coordinate emergency calls
- Update customers on arrival times
Administrative
- File paperwork
- Scan and upload documents
- Enter customer information
- Maintain digital records
- Assist with permits and paperwork
- Prepare daily reports
Office Support
- Monitor office email
- Keep lobby and office organized
- Light Cleaning
- Assist Office Manager with projects
- Perform miscellaneous administrative duties
Property Management
- Assist with the management of off-site rental properties

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
