Position Summary
We are hiring a Shop Foreman to own production flow across our floor. You will be the heartbeat of the shop, making sure every job flows from raw material through fabrication, machining, assembly, and finishing without stalling, and that we meet or exceed schedule every week. We need someone who takes initiative, stays ahead of bottlenecks, and makes the call before a problem becomes a delay.
Responsibilities
- Drive daily production flow across fabrication, machining, assembly, and paint/powder coat to hit and beat schedule
- Prioritize and sequence work to keep all cells loaded and moving
- Identify and clear bottlenecks before they cost us a delivery
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of skilled operators, welders, machinists, and finishers
- Partner with scheduling, quality, and engineering to keep jobs on track
- Build and improve processes that let us scale capacity without losing control of flow or quality
- Champion safety, 5S, and a clean, disciplined shop floor
- Track throughput and report status with clear, honest numbers
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in a fabrication, machining, or precision manufacturing environment
- A bias for action and a track record of taking initiative without being asked
- Strong understanding of fabrication, machining, assembly, and finishing processes, routings, and lead times
- The ability to read the floor, make fast decisions, and keep a team motivated through rapid growth
- Comfort in a fast-paced, high-mix environment serving aerospace, defense, energy, and data center customers
- Commitment to quality and on-time delivery as non-negotiables
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
