PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to support high-impact projects in the Nashville area. If you take pride in your troubleshooting skills and enjoy working on critical life-safety systems, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
About the Role
As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will handle the installation, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm systems across commercial sites. This role is ideal for a seasoned technician who can work independently and ensure systems remain safe, reliable, and code-compliant.
Your Day-to-Day
Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems
Perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently
Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes
Document inspections, repairs, and system performance
What You Bring
Required:
5+ years of fire alarm experience (troubleshooting, testing & inspections, installation)
Strong understanding of NFPA codes and fire safety standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Valid driver’s license
Strong communication and time management skills
Preferred:
NICET certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with multiple fire alarm system manufacturers
Commercial project experience

Pay Details: $21.00 to $29.00 per hour
