This role is for an experienced security integration sales professional who brings enough technical depth to hold their own on an estimate. The ideal candidate has a track record of winning new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue in the Las Vegas market. Where you stand out is your ability to read a scope, understand what a project actually requires, and support the estimating process when needed. You are not expected to be a full-time estimator, but you know the numbers well enough to speak confidently in front of a customer during an RFP meeting or bid review. Clients trust you because you understand the work, not just the pitch.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of new and existing commercial security integration clients in the Las Vegas metro area
- Lead customer-facing RFP meetings, site walks, and scope of work reviews with a technical understanding of system requirements
- Prepare and review estimates for security integration projects including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection
- Build and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, construction managers, end users, and facility managers
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure accurate proposals and smooth project handoffs
- Track sales activity, forecasting, and pipeline data using CRM tools
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades, service agreements, and expanded scope with existing accounts
- Stay current on product lines, industry standards, and competitive landscape in the security integration market
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in security integration sales, estimating, or project management
- Technical understanding of electronic security systems including access control, CCTV/video surveillance, and intrusion detection
- Familiarity with industry platforms such as Lenel, C-CURE 9000, Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, or Bosch
- Demonstrated experience reading drawings, preparing or reviewing estimates, and participating in RFP processes
- Established relationships with General Contractors or Security Contractors in the Las Vegas market preferred
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both field teams and executive-level stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- College degree, trade school, or equivalent industry experience
