Full Job Description

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Contract)

Location: California 93405
Pay: $2,594 – $2,905/week

Schedule:

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
36 hours per week
Schedule based on unit needs (no block scheduling)

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Provide L&D care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum
Monitor mother/fetus, assist deliveries, and circulate C-sections
Manage emergencies, medications, and patient education
Collaborate with team and document care

Requirements:

Active RN license (State of California)
Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Additional Notes:

Must be experienced in high-risk and emergency obstetric care
Vaccinations required per facility policy
