The Nail Technician is responsible for providing guests with comprehensive and professional manicures, pedicures, and other nail related services, adhering to company SOP’s and brand standards. Performs nail services offered on spa menu, using proper techniques, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. Effectively communicates with guests to understand their desired needs and areas of concern, while maintaining a high level of customer service standards.
Duties

Interact cooperatively and professionally with guests and spa team demonstrating respect, sensitivity, and attentiveness, following all company guidelines.

Attend mandatory vendor and company training sessions, as scheduled by Spa Management

Provide knowledgeable and thorough manicure and pedicure services (shellac, acrylics, gel, paraffin treatments, and nail enhancements), while demonstrating professionalism, respect, and sensitivity to guest needs.

Provide guest consultation and personalized recommendations, based on guest’s needs, as well as sell and upsell retail products and enhancement treatments.

Responsible for fostering client relationships to enhance satisfaction, ensure repeat business, and support client retention initiatives.

Setup and break down of designated treatment area with the highest respect of fellow co-workers by maintaining neat and well-stocked work areas.

Comply with, maintain safety, sanitation, and disinfection standards, properly clean, and sanitize products, rooms, tools and equipment, following Pink Shell and State Governing Boards requirements and guidelines.

Provide guests with a tour of the spa facility, as needed.

Communicate guest complaints or any maintenance issues to Spa Management.

Experience and Requirements:

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, or any other combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and capabilities.

Must have a current FL Cosmetology or Nail Technician License.

Must have at least 1-3 years’ experience in a Nail Technician position, preferably in a luxury hotel/resort environment.

Knowledge of nail-care techniques and procedures provided.

Must be polished, professional, and have a strong command of both written and verbal English.

Must be organized, proactive, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Basic computer software skills, including Microsoft Office.

Previous experience with Maestro, Booker, Book4Time, Spa Soft preferred.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of the job include sitting for extended periods of time and performing repetitive movements, walking frequently to assist guests and tour the spa, regularly bending, reaching overhead, and lifting items (up to 50 lbs), and handling small items and products throughout the day.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the individual is frequently exposed to hot items such as water, towels and other treatment related items. The noise level in the work environment is low. The individual frequently works in a controlled climate depending on services provided. This individual is frequently exposed to chemicals.
