We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a standard sleeper truck and 53-foot dry van trailers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent driving skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-assigned trucks and trailers to transport cargo.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Plan routes effectively and meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs using ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices).
- Communicate with dispatch regarding load status and any potential delays.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required.
- Minimum [5 years] of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
